We built a custom AI lead routing and parsing application that automatically qualifies incoming leads and routes them to the right attorney, enabling faster outreach and higher conversion.
The challenge
The firm was receiving 50+ leads per week from multiple channels — web forms, phone calls, referrals, and directory listings. Every lead was manually reviewed by a paralegal who read the intake, assessed practice area fit, and assigned it to an attorney. This process took 2-3 hours daily, responses were slow (often 24-48 hours), and good leads were falling through the cracks because the volume exceeded what one person could handle.
Our approach
Mapped the firm's intake process end to end — every lead source, every qualification criterion, every routing rule the paralegal used to make assignments.
Built an AI parsing engine that reads incoming leads, extracts key information (practice area, urgency, case type, jurisdiction), and scores qualification fit.
Designed routing logic that matches qualified leads to the right attorney based on practice area, availability, and case load — then sends the lead directly to the attorney's queue.
Added an escalation path: leads the AI can't confidently classify get flagged for human review rather than auto-routed, keeping quality high.
The result
Leads are now qualified and routed in under 2 minutes instead of 24-48 hours. The paralegal's 2-3 hours of daily manual review was eliminated, and attorney response times dropped dramatically.
